Installation Guidelines for Rotary Motor
Swing motors are hydraulic components that generate turning force for excavator booms using oil pressure, enabling right or left rotation and controlling turning power transmission.
Important Installation Steps:
  • Thoroughly clean mud and debris from oil pipe joints before installation
  • Add gear oil to the marked position on the gear box
  • Use new 46# or 68# anti-wear hydraulic oil for the hydraulic system
  • Replace gear oil after one week of initial use
  • Replace gear oil again after one month of operation
  • Maintain regular maintenance schedule with oil replacement every six months thereafter
